With Turkey Day already planned, would-be gift givers and cheer mongers are searching for the hottest and most "perfect-est" gift for their wave riding loved ones. Anyone can go to the local Kook Mart and pick out some cookie cutter clone gear. However, loads of smaller and dare I say more interesting products are out there. Take a gander below:

Jay, My son is Peter Jessee the 19 year old from OK that has sufers myelopathy. Is the surfing industry taking steps to better inform sufers of this tragic condition?

Check out Alabama’s surfing. It will blow you away, and there is even a shop to buy custom boards. It rocks.

To be honest, I haven’t seen much of anything at all. I think the industry sees it as a rare black mark on the money train. This may be hard, but if you’d like to write a short piece about your (and your son’s) experience. I’d be glad to post it to get the word out. I wrote a few blog entries about surfer’s myelopathy last year.
