Obviously, some blogs garner more attention than others. The one on the whereabouts of Christian Fletcher is still pulling in some reactions:

Bruce writes, ”its sad to see such talent fall victim to a drug and achahol induced haze…guys like mark healey who take (care) of them selves are going to be around a lot longer…surfers are more like pro atheletes now a days…taking care of your self asures you can surf into your 70’s…..im not judging fletcher…ive been down that road…aloha”

Gabe adds, “Truer words about Christian’s abilities and significance have not been spoken. To any kid that might be reading this- You know how to “punt” airs, because of him. That thing that everyone of you knows about widening your stance and lifting (while transfering your weight)to your front leg, wasn’t so easy for us older guys to figure out in the mid eighties. Now I’m really old and REALLY fat and I can punt airs…Thanks Mr. Fletcher!”

BB wanted to add some info to my blog on the importance of cross-training for surfers, “DIET…i never got so fit until i changed my diet…fish..fruit..nuts..you can do al the cross training you want but until you eat for performance you only see the tip of the iceberg…..aloha”

Dale writes in response to my review of Sea Specs, “I used Sea Specs when recovering from eye surgery. I checked your site. Read the testimonials. You’d have to be Randy Rarick to wear sunglasses at Sunset and not get laughed out of the water. And Bob Mc Night would look like a kook whatever he wore. He’s a freakin CEO. but they float that is cool and while they look like really old guy glasses they would work for really old guys like me.” Good or bad, I love your comments. Keep them coming.
