This Saturday, June 12th...Look for SG Magazine's third annual Queen of the Surf which is possibly the biggest opportunity for women surfers to perform at a professional level. With some $25,000 up for grabs and a healthy portion of the money going to fight breast cancer, the Queen of the Surf, Pacific Beach, San Diego will be the place to be for aspiring female athletes and seasoned pros alike. There wil be live music and sponser booths as well as surf instructors form Surf Diva Surfing School and and OP's Goirls Learn to Ride.
The Hawaii surf contest season has begun with the Local Motion Surf Into Summer. Showcasing the best anmattear talent in the islands, this contest has always been a blast for everyone involved. Clean, 2-3 ft surf at Ala Moana Bowls under sunny skies made for a great Memorial Day festival of waveriding. Check out the results:
