Now go surfing you kook...I took the family down to the beach and actually strapped down one 6' 4" shortboard, an 8' softboard, and a bodyboard. The boards stayed secure; however, it some adjusting and putting a towel down to stop the plastic strap from making noise in the wind.

As I write, I think of the ease and convenience of this innovation in transporting my boards from plane to car to hotel and beyond on my next surf trip.
