Who Da Guy?:
Julian Wilson is a regular foot Aussie whose combination of progressive surfing and youthful good looks have made him a perfect product for the surfing industry machine. Wilson has backed up his media blitz with some incredible surfing perfomances, being a pencil-in to the Pro Junior finals for years and creator of the "sushi roll." The sushi roll is surfing maneuver somehwere between a backside air-reverse and a Superman (hands on the rail and legs extended away from the surfboard). All sources credit Julian Wilson as the first to complete this difficult and visually stunning move. As most young surfers finish their junior series run, the next step is the World Qualifying Series. Instead, Julian Wilson decided to take a break and work on his surf film (Scratching the Surface).
